Asynchronics has officially commenced work under the Horizon Europe programme to develop a digital twin for Safran’s industry-leading PPS®5000 high-power electric propulsion system.
As part of the INVICTUS project, which aims to qualify the thruster for use with krypton propellant, Asynchronics will deliver system-level simulation models for the Thruster Unit (TU) and the Power Processing Unit (PPU). These high-fidelity models will enable advanced functional verification by accurately reproducing telecommand and telemetry, internal state machines, timing constraints, and all digital, analog, and fluidic interfaces.
